Hello! It’s Kyle again. I have for you another intro screencast on how to use Google Reader and how to import a nice set of library related RSS feeds from blogs and library news sources like Library Journal and ALA.
1- Before you begin watching the video, download the XML file here. This file has the information Google Reader will need when you go to upload the file.
2-Download the video here. I suggest downloading the video and giving it a second to load (it was pretty speedy at my local Panera). Like the WordPress screencasts you’ll need Quicktime to view it.
Happy blogging,
Kyle Jones
Hello, I’m fellow GSLIS student Kyle Jones (Michael’s grad. assistant) and was asked to create a brief screencast on using WordPress.com blogs for all your L2.0 blogging needs. Check out the 15 minute video here. It requires Quicktime to view it. The first five minutes of the video will be most beneficial for getting started, while the last 10 highlight some of WordPress’ features.
Happy blogging and feel free to contact me with any tech needs,
~Kyle Jones~
